Apparently news from 1967 is still as relevant today. In April, Spain voted to create a criminal code for journalists posting fake news. It’s interesting to see that fake news we hear about so often today isn’t something new, although it has almost certainly risen as a result of the internet.

It was also a year of luck for horse racing fans. The grand national was won by Foinavon, with odds placed at 100-1 – no doubt someone had a very good Easter holiday that year! And for you music fans, Aretha Franklin’s world-renowned ‘Respect’ was released 50 years ago – anyone else feeling old?
