We’re delighted to welcome Stephanie Hall back to the Evans Weir team.
Stephanie first joined Evans Weir in December 2019, beginning her career in accountancy after graduating with a degree in Fashion Management and Marketing. While her university studies took her in one direction, she soon realised her passion lay in helping businesses understand their finances and achieve their goals.
During her first three years with Evans Weir, Stephanie gained valuable experience while working through one of the most challenging periods for businesses in recent history. Supporting clients throughout the COVID-19 pandemic gave her first-hand experience of the furlough scheme, VAT relief measures and the ever-changing financial landscape that many SMEs faced. Alongside this practical experience, she also achieved her AAT Level 3 qualification in Bookkeeping.
After leaving Evans Weir, Stephanie took some time to explore a different career path before returning to accountancy with a larger practice in Midhurst. Over the following three years, she completed her AAT Level 4 qualification and further developed her expertise in accounts preparation, expanding both her technical knowledge and experience.
While she valued everything she learned, Stephanie realised that what she enjoyed most was working in a smaller practice where she could build meaningful relationships with clients and support them across a broad range of services. She returned to Evans Weir earlier this summer.
Reflecting on her return, Stephanie shared:
“One of the things I value most about Evans Weir is our commitment to providing a personal service and building strong relationships with clients. My aim is to eventually manage my own portfolio of clients, supporting them with a wide range of services, from payroll and bookkeeping through to accounts preparation and personal tax. I enjoy being a client’s first point of contact, developing long-term professional relationships, and providing trusted support as their business grows.”
Stephanie’s return reflects the values that have always been at the heart of Evans Weir: providing approachable, expert advice and building lasting relationships with local businesses.
